LONDON PARIS NEW YORK is a Hindi feature film which released on 2nd March, 2012. It has been produced by the banners Fox Star Studios and Rose Movies. It falls in the genre of romance and comedy.

Story : This is the story of Nikhil (Ali Zafar) and Lalitha (Aditi Rao Hydari). They meet in London for the first time. They are strangers. They get impressed with each other and spend one day together in London like tourist exploring London.

Nikhil is there to learn filmmaking course whereas Lalitha is interested in politics and for that she has to go to New York to study this subject. Nikhil promises her that he would surely come and meet her in New York but he fails to keep up his promise due to various reasons. This hurts Lalitha.

Due to some reasons, after a few years spending in New York, Lalitha moves to Paris. This time both of them, Nikhil and Lalitha, happen to meet there. Nikhil asks her to forgive him for not keeping up his promise to meet in New York and eventually they spend their time together and they also sleep together.

However, Lalitha complains him that she had seen him in his bed with a foreigner girl. Nikhil tries to explain her that he loved only her and no one else. Lalitha seems to put deaf ears to his words.

Things take turn and Lalitha reaches New York again and gets engaged with a foreigner. But a day prior to her marriage, she happens to meet Nikhil again and both of them spend time together.

Would she marry the foreigner? Or would she break her marriage and be with Nikhil? Such queries are answered in the rest of the film.

Acting : Ali Zafar has performed well and has justified his role. Aditi Rao Hydari looks good and has also performed well. Dalip Tahil has been given less footage but he is okay in his short role.

Script : The story and screenplay is written by Anu Menon who is also the director of the film. But the story and screenplay are weak and doesn't keep you hooked. It also lacks entertainment and conviction. Its dialogues are also not for the family audiences.

Music : Average

Direction : The direction by Anu Menon is average. It also appeals less due to weak screenplay. As a debutante director, Anu should have done some more home work, especially in the script part.

Plus Points : Cinematography, Locations, Production Values

Minus Points : Script, Music, Star Cast

Conclusion : This film doesn't contain tight screenplay so star cast could have benefitted it to some extent but even the stars are not big so it would be very difficult for it to earn high revenues in India. Also its content doesn't suit Indian audiences except metros; hence it may not gain high revenues in India, especially in single screen theatres. Multiplexes may attract some viewers.

Verdict : Not the film you were expecting from Goldie Behl Banner. You can go for time pass or for a change otherwise it is better to watch it on TV.
