Love Recipe Review

LOVE RECIPE is a Hindi feature film which released on 25th May, 2012. This falls in the genre of comedy, but does this film really make you laugh? Read this review before you go to watch this film.

Story : Rahul Kher loves Tia who is a bubbly girl but her father Pratap Singh, who is a retired IG, is against their love due to different reasons. He wants his son-in-law to be Hindustani in all sense and Rahul doesn't fit in his profile. Rahul tries to impress and convince Tia's father to give approval but he always fails. But things take turn and a severed head of terrorist carrying the award of INR 50 crores comes into his possession on which whole film revolves. The severed head moves from here to there, from this cupboard to that and finally the films ends on a positive note with a good message.

Acting : Vrajesh Hirjee is okay in his role but he needs to do better comical roles. Atul Pachare has done his part well. Manoj Joshi too performs well and justifies his character.

Suzanne Bernert and Darshan Jariwala do a better job than other actors in the film.

The lead pair Sohail Karim and Rani Agrawal isn't impressive and they need to sharpen their acting skills or take some lessons or work under the direction of a better technician.

Script : The story is unconvincing and irritating. It irritates you more rather than making you laugh. There are so many weak points in the sequences and screenplay that you pull your hair why you went to watch the film. Many unnecessary scenes are written which cause you headache.

Direction : The direction of Amol Shetge is very armature. Even youngsters could have directed better plays or films with handy cams or high mega pixel mobile phones in their colleges or colonies. You don't laugh at the comical scenes (because they are not comical) but you surely laugh at the director's childish work.

Minus Points : Almost Everything (except message); From Story Department to Direction Team; Visual of the Severed Head is Very Bad

Conclusion : In the name of a comedy film, it is an irritating film. The script is rubbish and some of the actors have tried to overact and irritate you. This film will hardly survive at the box office and will meet bad fate until some miracle happens. A severed head visual is very bad and that is also one of the biggest drawbacks of the film!

Verdict : If you don't want to torture your mind, don't watch it in theatres. To avoid bad visuals you need to avoid this film. A recipe with bad taste! It is a pakaaoo movie!
