Mary Kom Plot
Manipur based farmer's daughter Mary Kom (Priyanka Chopra) dreams big of becoming a boxer someday. She faces the obstacle right in her house, as her father doesn't approve her to do boxing as she might damage her face. But she follows her passion and goes against his will. Her mentor Narjit Singh (Sunil Thapa) guides her to win one title after the other and soon she becomes the World champion in boxing.
Mary's glorified career comes to halt after her marriage with longtime friend Onler (Darshan Kumaar), when she becomes mother of two children. Losing her pride hurts her self-confidence but with her supporting husband she is able to gain it back. As he allows her to follow her dream and undertakes the responsibility of his children. But her comeback is quite challenging as she has lost her grip over the game and motherhood has diverted her focus.
