Mr Bhatti On chhutti is a Hindi feature film which released on 18th May, 2012. The main attraction of this film could have been Anupam Kher and Amitabh Bachchan (in special appearance) but would it attract you? Read the review below.
Story : Bhatti dreams of talking to Geroge Bush on the matter of world peace. He is not any political figure of India but an assistant bank manager. Mr. Bhatti also is a great fan of Amitabh Bachchan and he spends most of his time outside the bungalow of Amitabh Bachchan so that he could get even a glimpse of the star of the millennium. One day he wins a trip to England and everything changes. This makes him to be a part of tour group in which many sketchy characters are present.
What change this trip brings is what makes the remaining part of the film.
Acting : Anupam Kher is okay in his role. But his role is too lengthy without any meaning which bore you. Amitabh Bachchan appears for a few seconds and he looks good. Remaining actors are just okay.
Script : The script is weak and screenplay has many loopholes. It does not keep you hooked. It does not entertain you either.
Direction : This film has been directed by Karan Raazdan who has earlier directed two flop films such as HAWAS and GIRLFRIEND. He tried comedy this time but failed to make you laugh. There are many lose points in this film which also make you laugh on the director's childish thinking.
Plus Points : Anupam Kher
Minus Points : Lack of Comedy, Lack of Freshness, Music, Script
Conclusion : By watching the film you can clearly make out that it is a stale film. Anupam Kher also admits it and says that the film started when George Bush was the president of America but the film got delayed in release. This film is hardly going to survive at the box office. Since this week released film DEPARTMENT is bad, MR. BHATTI ON CHHUTI may get some audiences.
Verdict : Keep your energy and wait for a good film to release.
