MURDER 2 is a Hindi feature film which released on 8th July 2011. Nearly 7 years ago its prequel was released in the name of MURDER which was directed by Anurag Basu and Produced by Bhatt Brothers. This film is once again produced by the Bhatt brothers but the director is Mohit Suri instead of Anurag Basu.

Story : Arjun Bhagwat( Imraan Hashmi) lives in Goa and he was a police officer (now ex-cop) who used to earn for his survival by doing any kind of job whether good or bad! Actually the film portrays that his family was very poor and it was near to impossible to survive in this world because everything had become very costly and unaffordable. So Arjun decided to do even bad jobs whether legal or illegal to fulfill the needs of his poor family. For the sake of money Arjun was ready to do any kind of job.

In Goa there is a gangster named Sameer who is frustrated due to his business loss. He hands over the task of finding the culprit behind his loss and asks him to eliminate him. For this he offers Arjun a handsome amount of money. Arjun agrees to do the job.

He uses a college student girl Reshma (Sulagna Panigrahi) as a prey to hunt the enemy of the flesh trader. Reshma (Sulagna), though is a college student, she has chosen the profession of prostitution for the sake of earning money to meet her family needs.

The person behind all girls missing is a serial killer. Reshma reaches in his trap and what happens with her is a mystery.Priya (Jacqueline Fernandez) loves Arjun but Arjun feels shy to admit her love. A time comes when Arjun realizes that the lives of Sulagna and Priya were in danger.Would he be able to save them is what makes the rest of the film.

Performances: Jacqueline Fernandez appears to be very sexy and glamorous and is in no way less than how Mallika Sherawat looked in MURDER. Acting wise also she is okay. Her smile is good. She has got good footage to show her skin. Emraan Hashmi is as he looks in other films. His fans will not get disappointed to see his performance.

Sulagna Panigrahi has earlier acted in Amber Dhara, a serial which aired sometime back on Sony TV, in the role of twin attached sister. Her looks are beautiful and innocent.

Other actors and actress are also okay in their performances.

Music : Bhatt brothers' taste of music is very good; in fact as good as Yash Chopra. Bhatt brothers had chosen ASHIQUE music which was brilliant. Than DIL HAI KI MANTA NAHI had also superb music! You would like to play them again and again. But music of this film is so and so and you would forget after sometime.

Script : Script is written by Shagufta Rafique, who seems to be inspired by various films. The writer has written a bad script and characters are not well defined. The writer hasn't differentiated the character of 'Hero' and 'Villain'. The writer has given more stress on justifying the wrong doings of such people.

Direction : The director Mohit Suri has directed adult scenes very well. Otherwise the director had confused many things. It seems the director wanted to go ahead in showing the skin of his actress in comparison of Anurag Basu and he has succeeded.

Plus Point: Plus point is only for them who want to see sexy legs and lusty scenes. They would surely like this movie and make it a big hit like MURDER.

Minus Point: Sex, lust and exposure has been highlighted to great extent which is not suitable for family. At many places scenes become erotic.

Conclusion : God knows why Reshma (Sulagna chose to become a prostitute to feed her family instead of becoming a sales girl or giving tuitions or selling vegetables or working as a receptionist). Also it is indigestible that a cop who does all the wrong doings for the sake of money is shy to admit his love!! At box office this film may attract huge audience due to its adult content.

Verdict : Go for it if you love watching sexy scenes and exposed body of some actress. Otherwise use your money in something else.
