Rating: 3/5

One Line Review : You can enjoy the movie because of its visual appearances but dont expect too much suspense and thriller.

Positive Points: Visual Appearance and aesthetics, Camera work, all the characters excellent performances especially Aditi Rao Hydaris fabulous expressive acting , the twisted climax

Negative Points : Some scenes which are beyond the logic of the human mind, the ignorance of minor details in the story which cause blunders

Plot : The famous Bhatt camp has struck the silver screen again with their brand new thriller Murder 3. It is an official remake of the Hollywood film 'The Hidden Face'. But here, the effort seems not that successful. Vikram (Randeep Hooda) and Roshni (Aditi Rao Hydari) are the couple which stays in South Africa. Vikram is a wildlife photographer and Roshni is a settled interior designer. Vikram's career is not yet settled but Roshni is successful in her career. One day, Vikram gets an offer from Indian firm and he decides to shift to India for one year. Roshni also follows him leaving behind her booming career. In India, they come to Mumbai and take an old palatial house for rent. All things go fine until one day Vikram comes home back from work and finds one video message from Roshni. The message says farewell to Vikram from Roshni. Leaving the message for Vikram, Roshni goes missing without leaving any clue behind. Now Vikram gets upset and turns into a heavy alcohol addict. He visits a bar regularly where Nisha Sengupta (Sara Loren a.k.a Mona Laizza) works as a bartender. Eventually they get acquainted and Nisha shifts to Vikram's place. Vikram finds something fishy about Roshni's missing case and files a complaint in the Police. Here, Nisha experiences some unusual things happening with her in the house. Some circumstances go against Vikram and the Police suspect Vikram for Roshni's unusual missing.

Who is responsible for weird things happening with Nisha?

What happened further with Roshni and who is responsible for it?

Will Police take action against Vikram or find out the truth?

What is the future of Vikram and Nisha's relationship?

For all these answers watch the movie.

Direction and other Technical Aspects : Debuting Director Vishesh Bhatt tries hard to do the justice to the story. But he did not pay attention to the minor details like the appearance of the house etc. Some scenes like Kerosene can on the front seat of Vikram's car and Vikram gives money to his gardener seem childish as creating suspense from scenes like these is an old idea. Film Industry has much evolved from this now. Plus, some illogical things are shown by the director which are difficult to digest. But the camera work is just fabulous. Camera man has just become successful is delivering the best performance. You can really enjoy the visual appearances and aesthetics which are captured by the cameraman. The film becomes a little bit slow in the second half but Vishesh Bhatt has twisted the climax so swiftly that audiences really get shocked. In some scenes , you really get those goosebumps.

Performances : All the three actors Randeep Hooda, Aditi Rao Hydari and Mona Laizza a.k.a Sara Loren have delivered the fabulous performances. All of them rock the silver screen. They just fit into their roles perfectly. But the star of the show is Aditi Rao Hydari. She has delivered such an eye catching performance which is really very rare. Her expressions and her acting is just marvelous. The other supporting cast like Rajesh Shringarpure and Shekhar Shukla have delivered an average performance. They didn't have much scope in the film. Overall, Vishesh tried to make the film with the fierce passion but the film trails behind in matching the viewer's expectations as they expect the film to be better than its two prequels.

Music : Pritam Chakraborty has again done his job fabulously. All the background tracks are superb. The background score compliments the scenes. Tracks like 'Teri Jhuki Nazar' by Shafqat Amanat Ali and 'Mat Aazma Re' by KK catches audiences' hearts.

Final Verdict : If you are interested in visual aesthetics and appearances plus you love watching thrillers and suspense then you can watch the movie. But dont expect much thriller.
