Na Ghar Ke Na Ghaat Ke Review

Na Ghar Ke Na Ghat Ke is a comedy film directed by the debutante director Rahul Aggarwal who is also playing the lead role in the film. Other most important casts of the film are Paresh Rawal, Om Puri & Ravi Kissen and Narayani Shashtri.

Na Ghar Ke Na Ghat Ke is a simple story of Devaki Nandan Tripathi (Rahul Aggrawal) who is married to Narayani Shashtri. He wants to do something big but he doesn't get proper opportunity in his village so he wants to try his luck in big cities. For this reason he comes to Mumbai. But as he had thought, living life in Mumbai is not so easy. All sort of people live in this city; good as well bad. So he has to face a lot of troubles in Mumbai. However he is successful in getting a job at a weather bureau. But he is a simple man so most people around him make fun of him and his simplicity.

He gets into trouble due to some sort of misunderstandings which leads him and his wife to police station. There they find Paresh Rawal as a corrupt police inspector. He accuses them to be of wrong profession. Devaki tries to explain him that both of them were wife & husband but Paresh Rawal is not ready to believe them. Devki & his wife don't know what to do. The inspector asks them to prove that they were wife & husbands. Thus the process of proving them wife-husband continues into funny manner.

The debutante director has done great job as a director and has also justified the role of Devki. Paresh Rawal and Om Puri are excellent. Ravi Kissen too is okay. Music could have been better. Rest of the technical departments, are good.

The film is not as hilarious as its title suggests. However it is not totally wastage of time if you watch it. You will like it to some extent. At least for some time it will keep you hooked (Thought last few minutes are dragging and irritating).
