NH10 Plot
Meera (Anushka Sharma) is a contemporary woman happily married to her loving husband Arjun (Neil Bhoopalam). They are a perfect modern couple with high class living and corporate jobs along with a well settled back set. In the course of their routine life Meera witnesses a glimpse of the unsafe environment of Gurgaon when she gets attacked with the intension of molestation. While Meera goes into the trauma of the incident her husband Arjun plans a weekend vacation for her birthday to cheer her up.
The plot in the second half is full of twists and turns. The road trip of the couple turns into a nightmare when they are struck by unusual circumstances. The couple meet some rave and nasty people who are involved in Honour Killing and they helplessly dive into a troublesome situation. The couple goes through a hell ride and the night turns out to be the longest night of their life. The representation of a village with backward thinking, prevalence of the cruelty in mankind to the extent that it is okay for Satbir (Darshan Kumaar) to take his sister's life with no hesitation or guilt is awfully shocking. What the dreadful road trip has it for Meera and Arjun is a further watch in the film.
