Rock On 2 Plot
After the successful inception of 'Magik', its band members launched a talent management firm to promote new talent. However, their endeavour got a jerk when a struggling artist committed suicide due to their negligence.
This tragic incident left the band in split. Aditya (Farhan Akhtar) quitted the band and shifted his base to a small town in Meghalaya. While, Joe (Arjun Rampal) took a break to flourish his business in reality show and bar. KD (Purab Kohli) continued to make music and now handles the co-run firm by Joe.
KD wishes to unite his reluctant band members and revive the 'Magik'. His attempts go futile as Aditya still feels responsible for that artist's death and doesn't want to make a comeback. Will the addition of new band members - Jiah (Shraddha Kapoor) and Udya (Shashank Arora) make a difference to the band? Will Aditya ever change his mind?
