TELL ME O KKHUDA is a Hindi feature film directed by Hema Malini. This film was in news that since other people were unable to showcase the talent of Esha Deol, Hema Malini herself re-launched this film to showcase her daughter's acting skills. So does she get success in her objective? Read on ahead for it.
Story : Esha Deol is a successful writer who comes to know that she was an adopted child and her real parents were someone else. This bitter truth gives her a shock and she wants to find out her biological father.
This film is about a girl's search for her biological father.
Is she able to find her father or not? What happens when she meets her real father? These are some answers given in the rest of the film.
Performance : Esha Deol is a talented girl but even though her mother was the director of this film, she could not bring out her talent completely. The film rotates completely around Esha Deol and no other actor has got much footage than her, yet she is unable to impress you. However she looks beautiful in some scenes.
Arjan Bajwa is average and has got less footage.
Other actors such as Vinod Khanna Rishi Kapoor, Dharmendra etc. are good and have very less to do.
Music : Music of the film is so and so and would hardly impress you to listen several times.
Script : Script of the film is dull and has many loopholes. It is dragging and inspired from previous films such as DIL ASHANAHAI, MAMA MIA etc. and lack freshness.
Direction : This is the 2nd film of Hema Malini as a director. But she fails to impress you. Though her takings are good she chose a poor script and despite all her freedom to do anything, she could not utilize the opportunity.
Plus Points : Presence of Dharmendra, Rishi Kapoor, Hema Malini, Vinod Khanna etc. are plus points of the film.
Minus Points : Weak script presented in old style and poor music are minus points of this film.
Conclusion : People were expecting something extraordinary from Hema Malini because she was re-launching her daughter but her fans would get disappointed to watch the result.
Verdict : If you haven't watched DIL ASHNA HAI and if you are Esha Deol fan, you can go for it.
