Bollywood director Amole Gupte is all set to direct a biopic on the life of Badminton ace Saina Nehwal. The news is that Front Foot Pictures Pvt. Ltd. has acquired the rights to make a biopic on Nehwal. And, the director who successfully helmed ' Hawaa Hawaai ' and won critical acclaim for the film has been roped in for the upcoming biopic.
The movie will glorify young Saina's achievements that will be an inspiration for many. Gupte feels that the nation needs to know the story of 'World No. 1 beti'. Nehwal is an ace player. She was ranked number one in the world by Badminton World Federation Women's Singles in 2015. The young sports woman is also the first Indian to win a medal in Badminton at the Olympics. Her achievements have made India Proud. It will indeed be great to have a biopic made on her life.
