The newbie director Shefali Bhushan has made two biggies come on board to sing a track. A. R. Rahman and Vishal Bhardwaj will reportedly croon one song each in Shefali Bhushan 's directorial debut film ' Jugni '. Composed by Clinton Cerejo , the movie ' Jugni ' has a 12-track album. Rahman sang a prayer track "Lakhon Salaam" has been composed and written by Kashif.
The director Shefali talked about Rahman's song by saying that "It comes at a significant, pious moment in the film when the male protagonists goes into a deep emotional space and we could only think of Mr Rahman to give voice for it," Composed by Clinton, Vishal Bhardwaj 's song is a travel track "Duggu Duggu Dug" . Shefali stated "Vishalji has sung every word with so much feeling that it is delightful. We are very lucky to have both Vishalji and Mr Rahman singing for us,"
Shefali Bhushan revealed that the movie is a journey of a music director Vaibhavi who meets her folk singer son Mastana while travelling in a village in Punjab. Sugandha Garg , who is a musician herself, essays the role for Vaibhavi and Siddhant Behl portrays her son Mastana. ' Jugni ' is scheduled to hit the screens on January 22, 2016.
