A sequel to musical treat 'Dhadkan' is on the cards
It is learnt that the filmmaker Dharmesh Darshan is making a sequel to his 2000 hit musical film 'Dhadkan'. The director recently made this unofficial announcement on Twitter.

Filmmaker Dharmesh Darshan who made ' Aap Ki Khatir ' long ago in 2006, was missing from the film itinerary for many years. Now, the filmmaker is planning to make the sequel to his musical treat ' Dhadkan ' very soon. The director has made an announcement for the same.
' Dhadkan ' which was released in the year 2000 had a melodious music given by musicians duo Nadeem Saifi and Shravan Rathod . The film which had a romantic love triangle featured Shilpa Shetty , Suniel Shetty and Akshay Kumar in key roles. The film gave action man Akshay Kumar a new image makeover of a romantic hero. The film and its melodious music were loved by the audience and critics also gave the positive reviews to it.
Now, Dharmesh Darshan has unofficially announced the sequel to his love triangle flick on the microblogging site Twitter. Darshan posted that he will be doing the sequel to his 2000 hit film ' Dhadkan '. He said that he has come back after a short gap and now ready with the sequel named 'Dhadkan 2 - The Heart Beats Once Again'.
It is learnt that the filmmaker is currently busy with the completion of the script. The script is in the final stages of finishing point. But, the cast of the sequel has not been decided yet. Like ' Dhadkan ', its sequel 'Dhadkan 2' will also be produced by Venus Records and Tapes.
