Aadar Jain talks about comparisons between Qaidi Band & Farhan’s Lucknow Central

Newbie actors Aadar Jain and Anya Singh were launched in Bollywood with style. Yash Raj Films hosted a grand event to introduce these new kids on the block in presence of Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. Aadar Jain is legendary actor Raj Kapoor’s grandson while Anya is a Delhi girl. The trailer of Aadar and Anya’s debut film Qaidi Band is about jail inmates who form a band and find their freedom. The trailer video, as well as the main song, is a power packed and impressive one that garnered a lot of praises. But, soon after released Farhan Akhtar ’s trailer of Lucknow Central that is based on the same plot. Viewers couldn’t resist but drew resemblance to the storyline which became a hot topic of discussion among the cine lovers.

Talking about the similarity in plotlines, Aadar Jain finally broke his silence. In a media interaction, he stated that they had no idea about another film with the same plot being made when they were shooting for Qaidi Band . The young actor realized the similarities when he saw the trailer of Farhan’s film. He said, although the films look similar but are not! Even if the plot has similarities, no two films can be the same, as per the young lad.

Qaidi Band is written and directed by Habib Faisal and is set to release on August 25! Check out the trailer here:

While Farhan Akhtar ’s Lucknow Central also stars Diana Penty as the female lead. It is directed by Ranjit Tiwari and is scheduled to release on September 15, 2017. Check out the trailer here:
