Abhishek Bachchan And Ranbir Kapoor To Share Screen Space?
A rumor was being spread that two of Bollywood’s well known male stars, Abhishek Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor will be sharing the silver screen for filmmaker Sudhir Mishra’s ‘Mehrunissa’ for the younger version roles of Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor.

A rumor was being spread that two of Bollywood's well known male stars, Abhishek Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor will be sharing the silver screen for filmmaker Sudhir Mishra 's ' Mehrunissa ' for the younger version roles of Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor . However, it has been revealed that there is not truth to the news.
A source shares, "Quite a few names have been thrown around and speculations are not just about these four men but also the leading lady. On certain days it is Vidya Balan or Katrina Kaif while on other it is said that Sudhir is going back to his favourite Chitrangada Singh ". It adds further, "A lot of it could be right or wrong but Ranbir and Abhishek are definitely not a part of the whole scheme. In fact they were not even considered, leave aside being short-listed and deliberated upon."
The rumor was born when it was made popular that the two veteran actors will also be starring in the film. But when it got known that there are roles for the younger versions of the actors, their sons were considered to be the filmmaker's obvious choice.
Sudhir Mishra says, "I have not even approached them so I don't even know from where did the speculation arise. The film is not about them and it would be unfair to even tag them here."
