After 'Peepli live' directors set for 'Opium'.

Peepli Live directors Mahmood Farooqui and wife Anusha Rizvi are set to direct their next film- 'Opium'. The movie is based on 'A Sea of Poppies' which had been written by Amitav Ghosh. "The screenplay is ready" informs the director who was in Lucknow for a Dastangoi (Urdu story telling) performance. The director is now waiting to get a producer for the movie. Last time, the directors had some differences with Aamir Khan productions on the issue of ' Peepli Live '. Faarooqui openly accepts the fact. "In a creative process differences are ought to rise which happened last time. But now we only remember that the movie was liked by everybody. The remaining things have faded away only the work has remained" Farooqui explained. Talking about 'Opium' he said that the movie is an adventure story depicting 19th century when two groups , one of Indians and one of British's meet on a ship and their combined journey from then. The story contains a backdrop of Opium Trade and the migration of Indians to the different islands of the Indian Ocean. The movie is going to be a Bollywood Masala one accompanying song though, with no big stars as no role demands a star but, with many newcomers. Apparently, the shoot will happen in UP and Bihar.
