Aishwarya Rai breaks Karva Chauth fast via Skype!
As Abhishek Bachchan is shooting abroad, Aishwarya Rai broke her fast through video conferencing on Skype. Abhishek is filming for \'Mere Apne\' currently.

The festive occasion of Karva Chauth has always been very special for all B-Town biwis, as they get together and have a gala time. And when it comes to the Bachchans, it has to be something Big! Like always, the Bachchan saas-bahu Jaya Bhaduri and Aishwarya Rai observed fast on the occasion of Karva Chauth for the long-life of their respective husbands.
Undoubtedly, it was a "lajawaab" Karva Chauth celebration at Jalsa and the tradition was followed in a little different way this year. Bachchan bahu opted a diverse way of breaking her fast, as she broke it in a hi-tech way and the technology came to the rescue! As Ash's loving hubby Abhishek is currently shooting abroad for ' Mere Apne ' by Umesh Shukla , Aishwarya saw the face of Abhishek on Skype, which is a well-known video messenger on the internet. On Twitter, Amitabh Bachchan wrote "Karvachauth over ... moon sighted, prayers done through the sieve, food eaten and water drunk by the wives .. dressed in fineries ! Abhishek out of country on shoot .. so face of husband seen through Skype, for Karvachauth by Aishwarya .. what times we live in!!"
Abhishek Bachchan also expressed his gratitude towards the technology on the micro-blogging site Twitter by stating that "My 1st Karwa Chauth away from the Mrs. Thank god for Facetime!"
