Aishwarya Rai honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Award
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wins the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for her performance in film Sarabjit.

Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made an outstanding comeback in Bollywood. Though, she has done only handful of films yet her comeback is resonating enough. Yesterday, the actress won the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for her acclaimed film Sarabjit .
Aishwarya herself attended the award function dressed in Anju Modi’s outfit. She welcoming accepted the Dadasaheb Phalke Award and later, posed for the shutterbugs with yesteryear actress Hema Malini.
In film Sarabjit , Aishwarya played Dalbir Kaur, sister of martyr Sarabjit Singh. While, actor Randeep Hooda played the titular role.
