Aishwarya Rai marks comeback with Abhishek Bachchan in 'Happy Anniversary'

Post her pregnancy, B-Town diva Aishwarya Rai distanced herself from the silver screen to deliver her motherhood to her loving daughter, Aaradhya. But over the year, there have been dozens of speculations regarding her comeback, which all eventually turned out to be rumors. With no more back-fence talk, this time it's officially announced that Aishwarya will mark her comeback starring alongside hubby Abhishek Bachchan in ad guru, Prahlad Kakkar 's filmy directorial debut, 'Happy Anniversary'.

Produced by Gaurang Doshi , 'Happy Anniversary' deals with the sensitive subject of ups and downs in a marriage. And who else can carry out the curdling chemistry on reel better than real-life erotic couple, Abhi-Aish! Overdelighted with Aishwarya's approval, Prahlad said that, Gaurang insisted to cast Aishwarya. Though, they weren't sure that she'll say yes to star in the film. But to their surprise, she accepted the offer, for which, they are still celebrating.

Prahlad shares close alliance with Aishwarya, as he had introduced her to the glam world in a soft-drink television commercial and after two decades, she has reached the pinnacle of her journey by becoming the prominent actress known internationally and bahu of Bollywood's highly honoured Bachchan family. Also, she was Prahlad's neighbor in a Bandra Apartment, before she moved to Jalsa Bungalow, after her marriage.

Being a Bachchan Bahu, her every step is closely watched. So, we respect Aish's decision of choosing Prahlad's family-based genre, 'Happy Anniversary' over other films. Whole Bachchan family shares good rapport with the film's producer, Gaurang Doshi .

Doshi had earlier produced two films of Amitabh Bachchan , namely, ' Aankhen ' (2002) and ' Deewaar ' (2004). And this time too, he is planning to get Sr. Bachchan on board.
