Aishwarya Rai to star in Mani Ratnam's next?

The beauty queen Aishwarya Rai conquered millions of hearts with her captivating looks and acting skills. Post the birth of her little angel Aaradhya, mummy Aishwarya took a break from acting. And now, Aishwarya Rai is all set to return on the celluloid with a big bang with Mani Ratnam 's film, reportedly.

Apparently, Aishwarya commenced her film career with Mani Ratnam 's film 'Iruvar' and this flick earned many praises for Aishwarya. Now, it seems Aishwarya will be returning on the silver screen with the same filmmaker's next venture. Mani Ratnam shares a good rapport with Aishwarya and Abhishek. The trio worked together in the films like ' Raavan ' and ' Guru '. Mani wants only Aishwarya to feature in his next film, as per the reports. A close source stated that "Mani shares a fabulous equation with Abhishek and Ash. But this time, he's planning to direct a film which has a very strong female protagonist's character. Mani feels there is little room for Abhishek in his next," The source further added that "Mani too needs to make a comeback".

Talking about Aishwarya, the source said that "Aishwarya was very clear about her priorities after she became a mother. She gave a hundred of her time and concentration to her daughter Aaradhya for two years. Now that Aaradhya is ready for playschool, Aishwarya can start thinking of seriously coming back to acting,"

As per the latest reports, Aishwarya has greenlighted Mani Ratnam 's next project with her presence in it. The official announcement is yet to be made.
