Aitraaz sequel on the cards; Priyanka Chopra in talks to star in it?
The film was helmed by director duo Abbas-Mustan and was one of the biggest hits of 2004.

Starring Akshay Kumar , Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor Khan in lead roles, Aitraaz was one of the most successful films of the year 2004. Priyanka, who played the lead antagonist in the movie, surprised one and all with her negative act and won several awards for her sterling performance. The latest we hear that a sequel to the hit film is being planned. Reports also suggest that PC might reprise her role in it.
According to reports, producer Subhash Ghai is already in talks with Priyanka Chopra for the second part of the film. “It’s a new story with a new title. Subhash Ghai has already had a word with Priyanka Chopra and the two have discussed the film. She loves the idea of a sequel to a film which won her accolades for her performance in a negative role and is excited to feature in the second instalment of the franchise. She is keen to collaborate with Ghai again and has even told him that she will try working around her dates,” a source reveals to a leading daily.
If all goes well, the sequel will mount the shooting floor by the end of the year.
