In the season of remakes reigning Bollywood, here comes one more remake of cult classic. Very soon, Basu Chatterjee 's masterpiece ' Shaukeen ' of the year 1982 will get shaped into a remake. The remake will feature Akshay Kumar and Lisa Haydon in the lead.
Going by the news update, the remake of ' Shaukeen ' will hit the screens on November 7. The movie will also star Anupam Kher , Paresh Rawal and Annu Kapoor in key roles. The release date of the film was announced by Anupam Kher on Twitter, "Happy to announce the release date of #TheShaukeens. It is 7th Nov. Be ready for this fantasy ride. Jai Ho.:) @HaydonLisa @annukapoor." The lead lady Lisa Haydon tweeted, "Got the most FANTASTIC phone call! #TheShaukeens releases 7thNovember. Can't wait2share this film w/all of u coz we had such fun making it!"
The remake of ' The Shaukeens ' will lock horns with Ajay Devgn starrer ' Action Jackson ' at the ticket window.
