Akshay Kumar says It's Great to get in action with Rajini Sir

B-town's heartthrob Akshay Kumar says that it feels great to get in the action with none other than South superstar Rajini Sir aka Rajinikanth . Akshay Kumar will play an antagonist in the sequel of the hit sci-fi Robot . Akshay is delighted to work with Rajinikanth and to exchange some on screen punches with the superstar. In the sequel, Rajinikanth will reprise his character of the dedicated scientist and his creation, the robot which he named as Chitti. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar will play the negative character i.e villain in the film.

The Airlft star expressed his feelings that he is feeling like on the top of the world. He is okay with getting punched and kicked. He says that he has done this all his life but it feels great to get punched by none other than the superhero like Rajinikanth . He said that it is an honor for him to work in this film and he is looking forward to play a negative character.

The Holiday actor will be seen as a baddie in this movie. But when asked about how he is preparing himself for this, the actor said that he is not doing any special preparations and no specific training as such yet. He just has to condition his jaw. When Akshay got nostalgic about his first meeting with the south superhero he shared that, there were people waiting for him. Everyone was looking at him. He was having a tea and noticed some dust on his trousers. He cleaned it and everyone heaved a sigh of relief. He said he also tried doing it but no one noticed it.

The sequel of Robot will be directed by Shanmugam Shankar and the female lead will be played by Amy Jackson . The prequel had Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as the female lead along with Danny Denzongpa as the antagonist.
