And it’s a wrap for Akshay Kumar’s yet another film, ‘Gold’!

Another day, another film and another great news for Akshay Kumar fans. The movie machine Akshay Kumar just wrapped up his upcoming film, ‘ Gold ’. While all his fans are waiting for ‘ Padman ’, he just broke the news of Reema Kagti ’s film, ‘ Gold ’. Akshay, who just finished the film, revealed the news on Twitter by sharing a video, captioning, “A good beginning makes a good ending...true story. It's a wrap for #GOLD, an incredible journey with a great team. See you at the movies.”

‘ Gold ’ is an upcoming Indian sports film and a biopic based on the life of hockey player Balbir Singh Sr., who was on the team that won the first Olympic medal for India as a free nation in 1948. Directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under their banner Excel Entertainment, ‘ Gold ’ also features Kunal Roy Kapoor , Mouni Roy , Amit Sadh , Sunny Kaushal , and Gauhar Khan in the pivotal roles and is slated to hit the screens on 15th August 2018.

The Khiladi Kumar has some exciting movies lined up in 2018, and all of them are completely different from one another. Apart from ‘ Gold ’, Akshay also has ‘ Padman ’, where he will be seen as a villager who turned out to be a hero by manufacturing low-cost sanitary napkins for rural women. And then he has ‘ 2.0 ’, which is a sci-fi film, where Akki will be seen portraying the role of a villain opposite megastar Rajinikanth .
