Taapsee , who started prepping up for her role in ‘ Mulk ’ on 15th October, just wrapped her shoots yesterday. Last month the actress said in a statement, “After a short break of doing a light-hearted film, I am back to doing a movie which will trigger debate and touch hearts.” When Taapsee was about to start the shoots, she tweeted a pic with a caption that read, "Inka naam hai Aarti... Poora naam..... Jald hi pata chalega Next one.... 'Mulk'.” And now as she has finished her shoots for the film, the actress disclosed the news again by tweeting, "Some movies are made with heart, more heart and only heart Mulk is surely one of them. It's not a real story, it's a story about reality."#MovieWrap.
Anubhav Sinha ’s ‘ Mulk ’ is a social thriller based on real-life struggles of common people, Mulk also features veteran actor Rishi Kapoor . Taapsee reportedly plays her daughter-in-law and a lawyer in it.
"This is a film which we all have done with a full heart because of the topics it deals with. It's purely a passion-driven project for each and every member of the cast and crew. The energies of the set were so good and it drove us all to finish the film in record time. It has been an extremely satisfying experience to do Mulk," Taapsee said in a statement.
