Looks like Anil Kapoor is on the spree of working with his co-stars from the past. The evergreen actor just finished ‘ Fanne Khan ’ which stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan , with whom he had given super-hit film ‘ Taal ’ and ‘ Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai ’. He has also signed ‘ Total Dhamaal ’ opposite Madhuri Dixit . The latest we hear that Anil’s another co-star from the past has been approached to pair opposite him in a film. We are talking about Juhi Chawla . Anil and Juhi have shared the big screen for a total of 8 times and now reportedly Juhi has been approached for Vidhu Vinod Chopra ’s upcoming film, ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’, a film which Anil has already signed.
Chopra’s upcoming film is an emotional cum humourous drama, which stars Sonam Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao as the leads. This will be the first time the father-daughter duo will be seen sharing the screen space. Interestingly, Anil will be seen as Sonam’s father in the film and Juhi’s role will mostly be of Anil’s wife. The two veterans of the industry were last seen in 2007’s film ‘ Salaam–E–Ishq ’. Though the film was a flop, their jodi and onscreen timing were praised.
