Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor starrer ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ to go on floor in Patiala!
The father-daughter duo is all set to share the big screen together for the first time and the movie will roll in Patiala from today.

Anil Kapoor ’s movie journey in 2018 will follow the path of 80’s and 90’s where we used to see him in multiple movies in a single year. The actor, who just finished his part in the on-going film, ‘ Race 3 ’, will start shooting for his upcoming film, ‘ Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga ’. The film is the debut directorial of Shelly Chopra , where we will witness the collaboration of Anil with his daughter Sonam Kapoor for the first time. Now, as per reports, the film will go on the floors today with Anil and popular TV actress, Madhu Malti (as his mother) in Patiala, while Sonam will join them in the next few days.
Shelly confirmed this news to a leading daily, saying, "I just came back from a meeting with Anil and he is like a kid, extremely excited about his role. His character sports a look that hasn't been seen on him in a long time. We will be shooting at a family house in Patiala, which is a perfect setting for the film. I am shooting entirely at real locations as I want the film to develop as organically as possible. We can't wait to start rolling now."
Apart from Anil and Sonam, the movie also features Anil’s co-star from the past, Juhi Chawla and the talent-house, Rajkummar Rao , who plays Sonam’s love interest. Sonam, who is currently busy with the promotions of her upcoming movie, ‘ Pad Man ’, will join the team with Rajkummar on 29th January.
