All the movie buffs will have an unconventional joy this year as ace filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has a bucket full of exciting projects releasing in 2018. Kashyap, who already gave a critically acclaimed film, ‘ Mukkabaaz ’ early this month, was busy shooting for his Netflix’s original series ‘Sacred Games’ and has now wrapped it. But he’s in no mood to take a break, soon after he wrapped his series, he started preparing for Aanand L Rai ’s much-awaited film, ‘ Manmarziyan ’, starring Taapsee Pannu , Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal . Kashyap took to Twitter to announce his upcoming projects, his tweet read, “Sacred Games wrapped .. Manmarziyan begins .. it's been a rollercoaster .. mukkabaaz, bombay talkies 2, Sacred Games , a secret short film and now manmarziyan .. followed by two more this year.. best time of my life.”
Known for making thriller and edgy films, ‘ Manmarziyan ’ will be Kashyap’s first rom-com. He has worked with Vicky in the past, but this is the first time that the filmmaker his collaborating with Taapsee Pannu and Abhishek Bachchan .
Apart from ‘Sacred Games’, ‘ Manmarziyan ’, ‘ Bombay Talkies 2 ’, a short film, it is reported that he has another movie with Taapsee, titled, ‘Womaniya’ and later this year, Kashyap will also be seen doing an out and out comedy role in a film, titled, ‘ Ghoomketu ’ which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui .
