As expected, the makers of the upcoming film Pari have postponed the release date of their movie. The film, which was earlier scheduled to hit screens on 9th February, will now release on 2nd March, on the occasion of Holi. Looks like this sudden decision has been taken after Padmavat makers decided to come on 25th January, which led to the postponement of Neeraj Pandey 's Aiyaary from 26th January to 9th February. So, instead of clashing with Aiyaary and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety , another film slated to release on 9th February, the makers of Pari bowed out of the race and announced a new release date.

We at BollywoodMDB had already reported that the film might be postponed because its trailer, which was supposed to come on 5th January, did not release on its scheduled date as the makers decided to wait and watch the next move of Padmavat makers.

Starring Anushka Sharma in lead role, Pari will now clash with Vishal Pandya ’s Hate Story 4 , which is the next instalment of the successful film series, Hate Story. It stars Urvashi Rautela and Karan Wahi in lead roles.

Pari , which is directed by debutant Prosit Roy , also stars Parambrata Chatterjee , Rajat Kapoor and Ritabhari Chakraborty. The film is produced by KriArj Entertainment and Clean Slate Films.
