Arjun Kapoor again wins jackpot from Karan Johar

Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor had definitely amazed everyone with his raw performance in the flick ' Ishaqzaade ' by Yash Raj. This was Arjun's debut film in Bollywood industry. The rawdy actor is also starring in ' Gunday ' and ' Aurangzeb ' under Yash Raj banner.

Now, the actor will be seen in Dharma production's second film ' Gutka ', ' 2 States ' being the upcoming first movie of Arjun Kapoor with the production house. 'Gutka' is the joint venture between Hari Om Entertainment and Dharma Production.

It can be said that the tough look assisted in achieving some brownie points to Arjun Kapoor . Delighted by Arjun's overall performance, Karan Johar decided to cast him in ' Gutka '. Kapoor will be sharing screen space with another 'Rowdy Rathore' - Akshay Kumar .

For this reason, Arjun Kapoor is on cloud nine these days for grabbing two projects with Dharma Productions. The actor will be wrapping up a portion of the movie ' Gunday ', which is slated to release by the end of this year.

Arjun Kapoor has completed plenty of scenes for the movie ' 2 States ' and is in the favorite list of KJo, a source said. The other preferred actors of Karan Johar include Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan . Arjun has improved a lot in terms of his acting performance post the movie ' Ishaqzaade ', as revealed by the source.

Meanwhile, KJo was also considering Emraan Hashmi for ' Gutka '. But, the chances of Emraan featuring in 'Gutka' are very less. Emraan Hashmi is working on a joint venture of Ekta Kapoor and Karan Johar , in which Kareena Kapoor will be playing the female lead.
