As Sanjay Dutt steps out of Karan’s film, the makers are looking for Anil and Jackie opposite Madhuri!
The movie was initially scheduled to cast Sridevi and Sanjay Dutt, but after Sridevi’s sudden demise, Dutt has opted out of the project.

Among Karan Johar ’s upcoming projects, one of the most talked about films is a multi-starrer which will be helmed by Abhishek Varman . The movie will have an ensemble star cast and it was earlier scheduled to feature Sanjay Dutt and Sridevi in pivotal roles. But after the latter’s sudden death, Janhvi Kapoor announced that Sridevi’s shoes would be filled by Madhuri Dixit . But seems like Dutt did not like this idea and opted out of this film leaving the makers in hunt of a new male lead opposite the Dhak Dhak girl. But if current reports are to be believed then Karan’s team are now looking for Jackie Shroff and ever young, Anil Kapoor as Dutt’s replacement.
“Jackie, who has been paired opposite Madhuri in several films, is being considered as the next option in case Anil doesn’t manage to adjust his dates. Anil has been excited by a digital project. He may have to let that go if he signs this movie. So, he’s in two minds,” a source said.
According to the grapevine, the film also stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt along with Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha in prominent roles.
