Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai, Nargis Fakhri starrer Azhar released today and going by the latest report, the film opened on a decent note. Azhar witnessed a fair occupancy during its morning shows The movie saw occupancy of around 30-35% both in single screens and multiplexes.
Azhar narrates the personal and professional aspects of the former Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin. It also includes the match-fixing scandal. The film was creating a great buzz even prior to its release. The lead actor Emraan Hashmi worked hard to step into the shoe of Azharuddin in this flick.
The film has managed to establish a strong connect with the viewers and is expected to do well at the box-office during evening and night shows. The word of mouth publicity can also work in favour of the film.
