‘Badhaai Ho’, Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra started prepping for the film!

Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra are all set to collaborate for the first time in the upcoming film, ‘ Badhaai Ho ’. ‘ Badhaai Ho ’ is being directed by ‘ Tevar ’ fame Amit Sharma and will follow the lives of a family that gets affected by the certain news. What happens next builds up the crux of the story! The movie is scheduled to release in the later part of 2018 and the actors have started prepping up for the same. Last evening, Ayushmann shared the news on Twitter, captioning, “Let’s do this! Readings and workshops for Badhaai Ho have started. @sanyamalhotra07 @CinemaPuraDesi. This looks like a fun journey. #BadhaaiHo”. Helmed by Amit Sharma , the film is written by Akshat Ghildial and Shantanu Srivastava .

‘ Badhaai Ho ’ is being made under the banner of Junglee Pictures, which last year gave the hit film, ‘ Bareilly Ki Barfi ’. This is the second time that Ayushmann is collaborating with the team of BKB. Confirming the news, the actor told to a leading daily, “I had a fantastic experience collaborating with Junglee Pictures for Bareilly Ki Barfi and working with them on Badhaai Ho is going to be exciting. The story that Amit tells is typically Indian with dollops of quirky humour. I look forward to a family film that is innovative and entertaining.”

Not revealing much about the film, the director informed a leading daily, “It’s very real and easy to relate to. What is funny for others is a matter of concern for the family. I hope one day soon people will tell me ‘Badhaai Ho’ too, after watching the film.”
