After Padmavati, Shahid Kapoor will be working on Roshini, directed by Toilet: Ek Prem Katha fame Shree Narayan Singh!

Earlier we updated about Shahid Kapoor’ upcoming project Roshini, which was written by the writer of Rustom and it is touted to be a crime drama. And now as per new updates and more details on his role in the film, he will be playing the character of a lawyer and the film which would likely to have a social tone and many monologues of courtroom. The film will be directed by Shree Narayan Singh who has directed this year’s blockbuster Toilet: Ek Prem Katha !
Apparently, as mid-day reported, the film will revolves around the common man's fight against the power distribution companies in the country, which make its consumers pay hiked up electricity bills. In such cases, mostly people to receive unfeasible electricity bills without knowing how to verify it. The story will start off as a single citizen's fight turned into nation–wide protest and rallies against.”
Actors seems to have starting the trend, now Shahid is set to play a hard-hitting lawyer on screen as in recent time actors like Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi in Jolly LLB series, Amitabh Bachchan in Pink , Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Jazbaa and so on! It would be interesting to see Shahid Kapoor in lawyer’s black robe and enacting tough monologues in the courtroom drama. Meanwhile, the film would be in pre-production phase and team hunt for leading lady for the film, Shahid will finish shooting schedule for Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s Padmavati ! Roshini would likely to be released next year in January.
