'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' to be screened at Ladakh International Film Festival

The recent biopic of the great Indian sprinter Milkha Singh ' Bhaag Milkha Bhaag ' received much praises from the masses and classes as well as the movie incurred huge figures at ticket window. The film gained positive reviews from several media sources and it featured Farhan Akhtar and Sonam Kapoor . The director turned actor, Farhan Akhtar grabbed eyeballs with his speechless performance in the film, thereby establishing himself as a full-fledged Bollywood actor.

By taking into account the latest reports, ' Bhaag Milkha Bhaag ' will be screened at the second edition of Ladakh International Film Festival (LIFF). The film's screening will be done as a part of the Green Carpet Premiere at this event, which is going to be held in next month in Jammu and Kashmir. Along with this Milkha Singh's biopic, one more documentary will be screened at this event, titled 'The Frontier Gandhi: Badshah Khan, a Torch for Peace'. This documentary narrates the tale of famous freedom fighter Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, who was also known as Badshah Khan.

Melwyn Williams, the founder of LIFF, said that this year the Green Carpet of LIFF will see the ace filmmakers like Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Teri McLuhan. A retrospect on the renowned writer-filmmaker Gulzar done by the versatile persona Vishal Bhardwaj will form another highlight of this event. Ladakh Internation Film Festival will also pay tribute to the late legendary personalities from cinema world, such as Pran , Yash Chopra and Rituparno Ghosh . Women film personalities will conduct a panel discussion on the topic, 'Role of Women in Cinema - On and Off Screen, Road Ahead'. The panel discussion will observe many eminent people including Megha Gulzar, Deepti Naval , Rekha Bhardwaj , Aparna Sen , Teri McLuhan and Hannah Fisher. Also, a flagship campaign called 'Campaign Red' would be seen at this spectacular event.

Ladakh International Film Festival will be held from September 13 to 15.
