‘Bhoothnath 3’ in the pipeline, confirms producer Kapil Chopra!
The makers at BR Studios will start work on the film right after the release of their upcoming venture, Ittefaq.

Nowadays, Bollywood rarely produces films targeting children. But Bhoothnath is a film franchise which has won the hearts of millions of kids two times with the release of Bhoothnath (2008) and Bhoothnath Returns (2014). And if latest reports are to be believed, the makers are all set to roll out the third installment of the film. Yes, you heard that right! The makers of the successful horror comedy franchise are planning another sequel to the film. Kapil Chopra, one of the producers of the film, himself has confirmed the news.
BR Chopra 's grandsons and Ravi Chopra 's sons, Kapil and Abhay are currently busy with their upcoming suspense-thriller film Ittefaq , starring Sonakshi Sinha , Sidharth Malhotra and Akshaye Khanna in lead roles. They will start working on Bhoothnath 3 after the release of Ittefaq .
"We are working on the story and have a panel of three writers who have just come up with a concept. We are trying to change that a bit and waiting to formalize it before we start speaking," says Kapil.
On asking if the third installment will also feature Amitabh Bachchan as a friendly ghost, Kapil says, "There can't be a Bhoothnath without Amitabh Bachchan!"
