Big B to step into late Feroz Khan's shoes in Welcome Back
Director Anees Bazmee has confirmed the news that the sequel of his laughter riot 'Welcome' is on the cards. The sequel will feature Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar. The main protagonist will be essayed by John Abraham replacing Akshay Kumar.

Director Anees Bazmee has confirmed the news that the sequel of his laughter riot ' Welcome ' is on the cards. The sequel will feature Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar . The main protagonist will be essayed by John Abraham replacing Akshay Kumar . But John's role is totally new and fresh. They have introduced a new hero in the script and eliminated Akshay Kumar 's character.
The director also said that Nana Patekar will reprise the role of Uday and Anil Kapoor will essay the role of Majnu in 'Welcome Back'. The director who shares a warm relationship with Akshay Kumar got into the dilemma after producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala and Akshay Kumar fell-out with each other. Initially it was decided that John will replace Akshay, but then Anees Bazmee decided to create an entirely new character for John Abraham in 'Welcome Back'.
It is also reported that , legendary actor Late Feroz Khan who had essayed a stylish and super powerful underworld don RDX in ' Welcome ' will be replaced by another acting legend Big B Amitabh Bachchan . ' Welcome ' turned out to be the final on screen appearance for Feroz Khan . If things turned out well, we will see Big B as a stylish, powerful don in 'Welcome Back'.
