Soon will land a biopic on an individual who galvanised whole country into proactivity and it's about the eponymous leader Anna Hazare. The biopic titled Anna: Kisan Baburao Hazare has unveiled its teaser. It inspires and gives goosebumps!
Shashank Udapurkar essays the role of Anna Hazare and he is also the director of this project. It took around a year to shoot this movie in Anna Hazare's native village Ralegan-Siddhi in Ahmednagar. The filming also took place in Mumbai, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, New Delhi and Ladakh.
This biopic features Tanisha Mukherjee in the role of a journalist, who does research on the life of Anna. It also stars Sharat Saxena, Rajit Kapoor and Govind Namdeo. The outing narrates how a social activist became an unanimously revered person.
Produced by Rise Pictures Pvt. Ltd, the 130 minute biopic on Anna Hazare will be dubbed in English as well as other regional languages. The venture releases on October 14.
