The entire Bollywood is still gripped in sorrow and shock at the demise of the legendary actor Rajesh Khanna . Rajesh Khanna , who was born as Jatin Khanna made his debut in the Hindi film industry with the film ' Aakhri Khat '. He rose to prominence with his performances in films such as ' Raaz ', ' Baharon Ke Sapne ', ' Ittefaq ' and ' Aradhana '.
Film ' Aradhana ' in which he was paired with Sharmila Tagore , became the turning point in his acting career. It was this movie that made him the heart throb of the millions of female fans across the nation. He was mostly paired with heroines like Hema Malini , Sharmila Tagore , Mumtaz , and Asha Parekh . He was romantically paired with the dream girl Hema Malini for the maximum number of times i.e. 15 times.
After prolonged illness, Rajesh Khanna died at his residence 'Aashirvad' in Mumbai on Wednesday afternoon in the presence of his wife Dimple Kapadia , daughters Twinkle Khanna and Rinkie Khanna , son-in-law Akshay Kumar , grand children and other close relatives.
