Sridevi wished everyone by saying "Wishing all of you a very happy and pious Mahashivratri." Madhuri Dixit wrote "Happy Mahashivratri!" Priyanka Chopra penned down that "Om Namah Shivay. May this auspicious day of Mahashivratri give the world some sense of tolerance and love. Why has everyone become so judgmental?"
Manoj Bajpai wrote "Wishing all of you a truck full of happiness on Mahashivratri! Har Har Mahadev!" Isha Koppikar said that "May Lord Shiva shower his benign blessings on you and your family! May happiness and peace surround you with his eternal love and strength!".
