Bollywood pays homage to late filmmaker Ravi Chopra

Bollywood celebs dropped in to pay their homage to late filmmaker Ravi Chopra, who died yesterday ailing lung cancer.

Filmmaker Ravi Chopra breathed his last on November 12. From past two years, he was ailing with lung cancer. However, his family got him admitted in Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital last Thursday, when his health started deteriorating.

Son of producer B. R. Chopra and nephew of late filmmaker Yash Chopra , Ravi owned a career in Bollywood directing films like ' Zameer ', ' The Burning Train ' and his last film being Amitabh Bachchan starrer ' Baghban '. Also, he helmed Television industry's most popular epic show 'Mahabharata' in late 1980s.

To pay their homage, several Bollywood personalities like Aditya Chopra , Rani Mukherjee , Ranbir Kapoor , Katrina Kaif , Chunky Pandey , Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan turned up at Ravi's doorstep. Though, Amitabh Bachchan wasn't able to attend his last prayer, he mourned on Twitter by writing- "It is the time in life when you do not make friends, but lose them."
