Bollywood to witness the Hindi remake of Telugu film, Surya vs Surya!
The film will be made by its original makers and they are in talks with Himansh Kohli, Tusshar Kapoor and Harshvardhan Rane for the male lead.

Bollywood and its love of remaking regional films is very old. We have seen multiple films being remade from several languages, but the Southern cinema has always been B-town’s favourite. So now, the latest film which is all set to be remade is Telugu romantic drama, Surya vs Surya. The film released in 2015 and starred Telugu actor, Nikhil Siddharth and Indian film and TV actress, Tridha Choudhary. The film marked the Dahleez fame actress’ debut in the Telugu industry.
According to exclusive information in a leading portal, the film which was a critical and commercial hit, is now being remade in Bollywood. It will be produced under the same banner Malkapuram Shiva’s Surakh Entertainment, which produced the original flick as well.
The film revolves around a young man Surya who suffers from a hereditary disorder Porphyria that prevents him from going outside during the day and enjoying the beauty of life during the daytime. He is raised by his mom. What happens when his love interest gets to know about his situation takes the story ahead.
Apparently, the makers are in talks with popular actors like Himansh Kohli , Tusshar Kapoor and Harshvardhan Rane . “All three of them have liked the character and the film, now the makers will apparently decide whom to finalize,” the insider explained. “After the male lead is finalized, they will hunt for the female lead”, he concluded.
The film is expected to go on floors by mid-2018 and will be helmed by its original director, Karthik.
