Boney Kapoor is keen to make Mr. India 2 with Sridevi and Jhanvi Kapoor!
The mother-daughter duo Sridevi and Jhanvi Kapoor are said to collaborate for the sequel of Mr. India (1987).

Veteran star Sridevi ’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor is stealing all the limelight for her fashionable outings. The young lady never shied away from the camera and she is always seen flashing a sweet smile for the shutterbugs. There have been a lot of speculations about her debut in Bollywood. It is believed that Karan Johar is set to launch Jhanvi in the industry. The latest news that has surfaced is that producer Boney Kapoor is keen to collaborate with wife Sridevi and daughter Jhanvi for Mr. India 2.
The iconic film of 1987 has been in news for the talks about its sequel. It is now learned that filmmaker Shekhar Kapur has denied any plans on making a sequel. Apparently, Ravi Udyawar , who directed Sridevi in Mom earlier this year, is taking up the project. More details about the venture will be revealed soon.
In a statement, Sridevi spoke about Mr. India sequel. This was prior to the release of her film, Mom . Sridevi said, “There is nothing like that. People are keen and want Boney ji to make Mr. India part 2. Would like to watch Mr. India part 2, I think he will definitely be doing part 2 but it’s too early to talk about it. There is no truth to talks that we are working on the subject. There is still time (for that).”
The actress added, “There is nothing wrong in making a film again as it would be really fun watching that in a completely different style. I am sure the makers will do full justice to it.”
