Chitrangda Singh excited about turning producer with Soorma
Besides producing Soorma, she plays important roles in upcoming films, Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster 3 and Bazaar.

Actress-turned-producer Chitrangda Singh is elated about turning producer with the forthcoming sports biopic, Soorma , which features Diljit Dosanjh and Taapsee Pannu in lead roles. Sharing the new release date of her maiden venture on Twitter, she wrote, "So happy to share #SOORMA releases 13th July 2018. my first as a producer, proud & thankful to have @sonypicsprodns @SnehaRajani join hands to bring a story of a man who fought back to win all he lost ..most of all his pride!! @Flicker_Singh @diljitdosanjh @taapsee #ShaadAli."
Directed by Shaad Ali , Soorma is based on the life of renowned hockey player and former Indian Hockey captain Sandeep Singh. Chitrangda is very excited to step into the shoes of a producer and explore this area of filmmaking.
Besides being seen as a producer, Chitrangda will also be seen in two distinct avatars in her forthcoming film Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster 3 and Bazaar .
