Chitrangda Singh to do a full-fledged film after 4 years!

We all remember Chitrangda Singh for her role in ‘ Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi ’ and ‘ Yeh Saali Zindagi ’, but the actress has not done a film after ‘ I, Me Aur Main ’ (2013). Though Chitrangda did some cameos and special appearances, her last solo or full-fledged movie came in 2013. The actress is finally making a comeback opposite Saif Ali Khan in Gauravv K Chawla 's ‘ Baazaar ’. Apart from ‘ Baazaar ’, Chitrangda has also signed Tigmanshu Dhulia ’s third installment of ‘ Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster ’, along with Sanjay Dutt .

Chitrangda started shooting for ‘ Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 ’ in Bikaner in September. When asked about working with the director by a leading daily, “Tigmanshu and I were supposed to work together way back in 1997, when he was making his first film, ‘Haasil’. Somehow that didn’t work out. If it had, it would have probably been my first film instead of ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’. Today, neither of us recalls why the collaboration didn’t work out then. Tigmanshu is extremely edgy and I like his style of filmmaking,'' she said.

When asked about her role in ‘ Baazaar ’, “Mandira is a city girl, her body language conveys confidence. It’s an interesting film on the stock market,” she said.

Chitrangda is not only making a comeback as an actor, she has turned a producer too. Her first project is Shaad Ali ’s Sandeep Singh biopic which features Diljit Dosanjh in the lead. The second one is a co-production with Anees Bazmee , which is set to be directed by Dolly Ki Doli director Abhishek Dogra .
