Confirmed: Ekta Kapoor to reunite with director Alankrita Shrivastava after ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’!

The year 2017 didn’t see many movies shine at the box office but out of the blue, Alankrita Shrivastava ’s ‘ Lipstick Under My Burkha ’ turned out to be a game changer. The low budgeted movie had no male star and with its 4 female leading ladies, it became a critically as well as commercially successful film. Alankrita distributed this highly appreciated movie under the banner of Ekta Kapoor 's Balaji Motion Pictures and the film swept 18 international awards and was screened at over 60 festivals worldwide. The film hit the bulls-eye at the domestic box office, paving the way for high concept small films in 2017. Now, Ekta is all set to collaborate with Alankrita once again for an upcoming untitled film. Balaji Motion Pictures confirmed the news on Twitter, captioning, “One of the best collaborations of 2017 is ready to make history again! @ektaravikapoor and @alankrita601 are all set to work on a new film!”.Confirming the same, Ekta tweeted, “And we are back! Super excited for this new journey with the ladies again! @alankrita601 #LipstickRebellionContinues.”
