Deepika Padukone to again star in Bhansali’s next alongside Abhishek Bachchan?
Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan might collaborate for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next which will be a biopic on Sahir Ludhianvi.

In the last four years, Deepika has done 3 films with ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali including ‘ Padmavati ’ which releases on 1st December. But this feat doesn’t seem to stop anytime soon as the actress-director duo might collaborate again. There was news that Bhansali is keen to make a biopic on late poet and lyricist, Sahir Ludhianvi, popularly known as Sahir.
There were rumours that Bhansali will have Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra in the leads but industry tracker and trade analyst Ramesh Bala confirms these reports in a tweet saying, “@deepikapadukone signs @juniorbachchan – Producer #SLB‘s yet to be titled Poet-Lyricist #SahirLudhianvi ‘s Bio-pic.”
Sahir Ludhianvi was the pen name of Abdul Hayee who was a legendary poet and lyricist. In 1949, after partition, Ludhianvi fled from Lahore to Delhi. After eight weeks, Sahir moved to Bombay, he later lived in a suburb of Mumbai. It’s not even disclosed that whether Bhansali will direct the movie or just produce it. The official confirmation from the makers is yet to arrive.
As Deepika is turning out to be a lucky charm for Bhansali, we have to wait for any such confirmation.
