'Dhumuha' : Pooja Bhatt's next directorial venture
Young director Pooja Bhatt is all set to direct a movie named 'Dhumuha' which is based on the legendary singer late Dr. Bhupen Hazarika's life and his association with Kalpana Lazmi , the well known film director.

Young director Pooja Bhatt is all set to direct a movie named 'Dhumuha' which is based on the legendary singer late Dr. Bhupen Hazarika 's life and his association with Kalpana Lajmi , the well known film director.
Recently, Pooja Bhatt revealed this news when she was speaking to the media. Bhatt said that the shooting for the film will start from 31st January next year after Lajmi gets ready with the script. Pooja Bhatt said that late Dr. Bhupen Hazarika was a legend. His movie will narrate his contribution to music and civilization. Bhatt also said that Bhupenda had a multilingual personality, so they have decided to make the film in various languages. The shooting for the film will be done in Assam, Mumbai, West Bengal and Arunachal Pradesh. The team targets the completion of the film till February 2015.
Bhatt revealed that 'Dhumuha' is an Assamse word which means a storm. Bhupenda was a born Assamese so they decided to give an Assamese title to the film. There will be subtitles in English as well. Bhatt said that her father Mahesh Bhatt and Kalpana Lajmi are currently working on the script and casting will be done according to the demands of the script.
