Bollywood's favourite love story ' Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge ' witnessed its last show at Maratha Mandir theatre in Mumbai Central today. The movie has been successfully running for more than a thousand weeks.
Today the final show of the record braking film was screened at 9:15 AM. The decision was mutually taken to end the historic run of the cult love story due to logistics issues of the cinema-hall staff having to work long hours to accommodate an additional early morning show. Though the theatre management was happy to run the show but could not work out on the internal issues.
The star cast of the movie includes: Shah Rukh Khan , Kajol , Amrish Puri , Farida Jalal , Satish Shah , Anupam Kher and others. The thousand week run was celebrated with full heart by the makers and actor Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol at various T.V. shows and events.
