Ekta Kapoor has signed actor Karan Singh Grover for one of her upcoming web-show.

We haven't seen actor Karan Singh Grover much on screen post his marriage with Bipasha Basu . A couple of months ago, there were reports that he might return to the big screen with the sequel to his debut film Alone , but with zero progress, the project seems to be put on the back burner. However, Karan has signed another film called Firrkie , but that film will take more than a year to hit screens. Meanwhile, you can see the actor in a web-show to be made for ALTBalaji. Yes, producer Ekta Kapoor has finalized Grover for her upcoming web-show. It will be Karan’s debut show in the digital space.
Karan, who started his television career with Ekta Kapoor ’s Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi in 2004, is reuniting with the TV queen after 12 years. He says, “I have started my acting journey with Balaji, and Ekta is the person responsible for my career. I’m extremely happy to be part of ALTBalaji.”
According to reports, Grover will be seen in a brand new avatar in the web-series. Most of the characters which the actor has played until now have been bold in nature. But in his digital debut, the actor plays a calm and simple man. A source adds, “The series will see him experiencing three different stages of life at 17, 25 and 32.” His wife Bipasha, who is a Bengali, may help the actor prepare for his role.
